Stargate Universe in my opinion does not at all compare to the first two series, in-fact, buying Stargate Universe 1.0 would be a waste of your money, you are buying half a season of crappy episodes. I stuck to watching Universe and now that we are nearing the end of the season things are shaping up a bit. I mean, any episode with the original SG-1 Cast in it is worth watching. So out of everything that I've seen, this finally was what made the season, the mid season finally was alright but the cast interaction wasn't what it should have been, you can tell they knew things weren't working when they started to kill off cast members.

If you haven't already watched the show Red Dwarf, I urge you to do so. Red Dwarf is one of the funniest, quakiest, best acted and most creative Science Fiction shows I ever had the pleasure watching. The show takes place in the future on a mining ship called the Red Dwarf. Everyone but a man by the name of Dave lister who was stuck in stasis because he had brought a cat on board had died due to a radiation leak. Dave is released from stasis three-million years later. This is where the story begins. The show is eight series' long plus a new show series slash DVD Movie called "Red Dwarf - Back To Earth" which is also amazing. I recently purchased the book Red Dwarf: Infinity Welcomes Safe Drivers and I will review that here when I finish. If you would like to comment on the show feel free to do so below.
What's New in May
Alright so I know it's been a while since I've posted anything on this website and there probably aren't too many readers anyway but I am committed to keeping as much information about Madtast Productions as possible on this website and I intend to keep it going. We have taken a few shots of a new actor, Cody Manley, as shown on the right. Cody has opted to do at least a few separate shoots. Also, this month Jacob Weymouth is joining us in Myself and Josh's collaborative process. If you are a member, feel free to check out the videos section to see some short clips we took. Thanks for visiting.

A while ago I decided I would give the show Doctor Who a try. The first few episodes were interesting but not really convincing enough to suck me in for the long hull. After getting into the middle of the season, there were a lot of interesting "To Be Continued" episodes, and I must say, although somewhat cheesy for a more modern show, they were good. Red Dwarf was very cheesy as well, however, it premiered in the 80's and was more of a comedy than anything else. Both Doctor Who and Red Dwarf are produced by the same company Brit-Track, which explains the similarly 'out there' style of the shows. By the end of the first season I was hooked. After hearing a lot about this show and it's newer seasons, I was intrigued and now I intend on buying the second season, and hopefully beyond.
I recently bought the DVD Series "Red Dwarf - Back to Earth", I didn't expect much from what I heard of the reviews, however; what I found was to my surprise! This short series, 70min long, was new, creative, and intelligent. They did as good a job as ever and made it modern to the point where it wasn't too modern, but it wasn't too old. I would love to see them continue this series. Something truly amazing about this show in general is, it's out there, the show Red Dwarf is like no other. I recommend this series and I support there being a continuation of Red Dwarf.
Latest Site Updates
Well, I thought it would be a good time to talk about how the site is developing. Currently it is still in the very development stages and requires a lot of combing through in order to make things 'more perfect'. To point out a few things, all concepts can be commented on by any member, all you need to do is register, however; blog posts are currently not setup to accept comments, although it is possible to 'comment' on a blog post, it is not intended to be done, I am still thinking about how we are going to go about managing these things. Also, blog posts show their creator and their profile image, you may click on this image and you will be navigated to (for this blog post), my profile on this site, where you can see my real name and 'private message' me, which is basically just a secure form of email. Keep in mind, this is just a development version of the 'site to be', currently OuterShell isn't actually producing anything, so this site is pretty blank, however; it WILL have the latest content and updates, and it is vital anyone interested in involvement of this project visit this site, register and participate in the discussion and posting. This site will later be moved to a new domain. I hope you are enjoying the site and I will keep you updated as we go along.
